Rebel’s cofounders recognized the need for access to recovery resources based on their own experiences in the community. As a result, advocacy for people directly impacted by substance is deeply rooted and drives our vision of “A Florida that values the lived experience of marginalized and oppressed communities in the funding, development, leadership, and delivery of supportive services for people directly impacted by drug use.”
At Rebel, we believe in Harm Reduction and supporting multiple pathways of recovery. We understand the importance of taking a trauma-informed approach to all aspects of service delivery and serve as a voice for those we serve to ensure they are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Our involvement across systems, including court and corrections, dependency and child welfare, and housing support, is intentional and amplifies the voice of recovery. As Palm Beach County’s systems of care continue to evolve, Rebel Recovery works tirelessly alongside our community partners to improve the quality of care for people who use drugs and for anyone experiencing stigma coming from their history of substance use.
